Hey, what happened in Chattanooga?

At around 1030, man in a silver drop-top Mustang pulled up in front of the Armed Forces Recruiting Center in southeast Chattanooga and sprayed the front of the building with semi-automatic fire without causing any casualties. Then he drove to the Marine and Navy Reserve Support Center near the river and did the same, this time killing four Marines and critically wounding one sailor. In the chase afterwards, he wounded a police officer in the ankle and died in a car crash. The shooter was Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez, a Kuwait born in Jordan who became a US citizen. He grew up here and graduated from Red Bank High, where he was on the wrestling team. He graduated from UT Chattanooga in 2012 with a BS in engineering. He was working as a supervisor in Franklin, TN, which is halfway between Nashville and Columbia, which is in the center of the state. His classmates universally described him as quiet but not introverted, and friendly, and indicated that he fit in well. They still have no idea why he did it or what the trigger was.
